I'm supposed to plan 1-2 bridal shower games for a friend's shower in 2 weeks - do you recall any particularly fun games you played at showers you've attended? Thanks!
I like baby shower bingo. It's relatively unobtrusive and since people are playing a game, it keeps them more interested in the gift opening.
You can either premake the bingo cards with the items (onesies, bottles, pacifiers, etc.) or have the guests fill in their cards with what they think the new mom will receive.
I should note that another girl is doing a game for the gift-opening.... and I think it has something to do w/ Bingo or keeping track of what she says when she opens her gifts and then reading them back as if that's what she'll say on her wedding night... or something
So - I need to plan a game or two that doesn't have to do w/ gift opening.
I went to one where they asked the FI questions beforehand and then the girl had to try to answer the way that she thought her FI would have answered. It was hilarious and super sweet at the same time. She got1 wine glass for every answer that she got right until she had the whole set at the end.
Yep, asking the questions game is a good one. I've also done the toilet paper bride, which was HILARIOUS at my shower over the summer with my grandma and other older ladies! You split the group into teams, give them a certain amount of toilet paper and 3 minutes to "design" a bridal gown using the toilet paper. They have a "bride" and then go to town. The bride then picks the winning team. We did it at my best friend's shower a few years ago and the older ladies on the team with her mom decided they needed to stuff the top of the dress! So funny!
I was going to say Bingo as well - obviously not an option for you, but it really is the best way to combine a game with keeping people engaged during the looooooong gift-opening process!

I love the ask-the-fiance' game too!
