I try not to make any because I end up not keeping them and I feel badly about myself.
I make more general resolutions like "don't take things so personally", or "don't talk about people". Those are ongoing things that I can always remind myself to keep on doing.
I very specifically did not make a New Year's Resolution this year. My 2009 resolution was to be nicer to people, and to think before reacting to a situation.
I found out in February that I was pg. I managed to keep my resolution, but it was not fun. As a reward to myself, I allowed myself a year without a resolution.

I failed at mine LOL. It was to do the 365 Photo Project (take a photo a day for a year), but between my camera needing to be repaired, then one of my lenses being out for repair, and me just being in a general photo rut, I quit at around day 290
I have still taken a photo most days, but I totally failed at the blog and I know I've missed days here and there. I'm a little sad about it, but it just wasn't fun anymore, so what was the point, KWIM?
ETA: I actually just did the math, and I didn't exactly fail at 365. I did 290 days, so I got a 79%. That's a B-plus! Not too shabby
I don't think I made any. In general, I've felt like our life has been "on hold" this year, trying to figure out where our financial future is going, since I'm still unemployed, and DH hasn't found a different job. I think my resolution for 2011 is to just live for now, and stop waiting on things to change. I feel like I've been in a rut for a big part of this year.
