So yesterday while I was at breakfast with friends I got a text from my mom that my cousins daughter has been taken away and is up for adoption. After talking to my Uncle, she needs to be fostered for one year and if her parents don't clean up their act she will be adopted. So, I will be making the call today to the baby's attorney. Cross your fingers that even though she is in Washington and we are in Oregon we won't have any problems getting her!

Thanks Lucy! She is about 18 months now. I have only met her once, but she is such a pretty little thing and so smart. And, I totally think she will pass as Augusts sister. Lyol

A similar situation happened with my SIL and BIL. The kids went to the Grandparents who stepped forward. In my experience the state generally prefers to keep it in the family when possible. Good luck!

Wow. You will have an 18 mos old and a 14 mos old! I know all too well what that's like! ;-)

At least you can tell people you have Irish Twins. Hahaha!!
