I am hosting a christmas craft through my mom's club and i need some ideas for a christmas craft. The ages would be about 2-3 years old. I want something somewhat simple and with little mess as possible as their might be a quite a few kids coming. thanks!

Crazy about Christmas? Check out our blog!
My good, old, rarely-updated toddler food blog
We made Frosty today! I cute out all the shapes ahead of time (circles for the body & head, a black hat, nose, eyes, etc.) and then she glued everything on a peice of blue paper. Then she used a hole punch to punch out little "snowballs" and glued those on. It was fun and easy!!
If you are really looking for a low fuss idea, I love pp's idea of the Christmas tree with sticker ornaments.
Here are a few ideas.....
Buy green buttons and have them glue them on an already made tree shape. Or buy white buttons and make a snowflake.
Use cookie cutters to make a picture of holiday things.
Cut a wreath shape from a paper plate and then give kids pieces of green tissue paper to glue on. Add some red pom poms and a ribbon as well.
Make a Santa beard by letting LOs glue cotton balls onto a beard shape. Tie with string and wear.
And to the pp who is making mittens... we did this last year and I used paint to make handprints on plain paper and then taped the mittens on top (connected with string). You could lift the mittens to see the hands. It's one of the few projects that I kept from last year. I love to see the little hands.

I love these two beautiful children!
This one looks cute. https://www.frugalfamilyfunblog.com/2010/12/no-mess-christmas-tree-craft-for-tots.html
Today my DD and I made mittens. I traced around her hand skipping the fingers to make a mitten shape out of foam paper. Then I cut them out and let her decorate them with stickers. We punched a hole and tied them together with yarn. Then she glued pom poms on the top to finish it off. She loved them and it was fairly easy and not messy.
