Our $1600 joint Christmas present came early!

New water heater and installation.  BOOOOOOZ!  Ugh.

Came home last night to a garage that was kind of flooded with water.  Not too bad, nothing was damaged, thank goodness.  But the water heater was basically spitting out water, dripping, etc.  It was basically kaput.

It would have been much cheaper to replace if H had followed through on this, oh, a YEAR AGO when he said "our water heater is about to bust".  Ugh.

So we're $1600 poorer today.  Merry Christmas to us! 

11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    ugh.  I'm sorry.  I really hate spending so much money on things that are necessities but not "fun".

    No kidding.  I'm really annoyed that he put it off for so long.  We knew it was about to go, and I bet if we had done this months ago we could have saved at least a few hundred on it.

    Ugh, that sucks. DH had to get his car worked on this weekend and ended up needing all new tires too. Why does this stuff have to happen around the holidays??

    So annoying!!! We had to do something similar over thanksgiving. New tires and a new windshield for DH's car in the span of 1 weeks. $1400 later, merry christmas to us :(

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    Yup that does SUCK.....last year we had saved and decided to take a vacation in Jan. The week before leaving our furnace broke.....yup 3500 bucks later. At least we had paid for the vacation before leaving so we didn't have to back out of that.

    There is never a good time for these crappy things to happen!

    TTC since 2009 very frustrated 42yr and DH 40

    5 cycles of Clomid with satisfactory response=BFN's
    Fibroid removal Nov2010
    IUI Clomid #1 Feb 2011...BFN..damn it!
    IUI Inject's #2 Apr 2011...CANCELLED...low estradiol
    IUI Inject's #3 June 2011...BFN
    IUI Inject's #4 Sept2011...BFFN
    Lap Dec 2011...severe endo..cyst removed..some remains...
    IVF#1 Apr 2012 ....cancelled due to over suppression
    IVF#2 July 2012....6 follies...only 1 retrieved....BFFN
    surgery suggested to move ovary to an better placement but....we moved two time zones away and are financially and emotionally empty
