We are on day 3 of the diaper free method https://www.babycenter.com/0_potty-training-in-three-days-or-less_10310078.bc?showAll=true
So far it has worked amazingly well. It has not been as hard as we expected which makes me think she was ready long before we tried this.
When she is naked she takes herself to the potty when she has to go peepee or poopoo like a pro. 100% of the time not counting the first time (she started peeing, we rushed her to the potty, she finished in the potty, we did the potty dance, etc.) She caught on immediatly and hasn't had an accident since as long as she's naked. If we try to put big girl underwear on her or even just loose fitting pants she forgets to take herself to the potty before she pees. She starts to pee and then yells "WET MOMMA!" and starts crying. I rush her to the potty, sometimes too late and sometimes she finishes on the potty. I guess we just need to give her more practice while she is naked... but she really does prefer to have pants on and I feel bad making her go around the house naked. The diaper free method article I read doesn't mention how you are supposed to transition them to underwear so if anyone has read the book or taken the class let me know! 
I just wanted to report on our progress for those going through the same thing. Nakey time has been the key for us but it can't last forever, I'm sick of it already.

We had the same problem here. I didn't really have a plan for potty training because they just started ripping their diapers off one and and I figured if they were going to run around the house naked then I was going to have potties out for them to go. They got it pretty quickly this way and go 100% of the time on their own, I don't have to say anything, they just got up and went. We also have the problem once they were doing really well with this and putting panties on. We had several accidents because as soon as they had panties on they though they were in a pull up and could go. After about a day or 2 of pee running down their legs they started to get it and did fine in panties. So I say stick it out for a couple of days to a week and see if she gets it.
I would stick to regular panties though at this stage and not the cotton training pants that are thicker. The training pants will feel like a diaper to her and she will just keep going in them.
It does make you feel better once they are in panties full time, but I am glad we did the naked time, it was the jump start they needed to start using the potty in the first place. If we had not have done it they probably would still be in diapers because they just did not want anything to do with the potty up until that point.

That is good advice and it makes sense to me. She had panties on this morning and started to pee... she then realized what was happening and took herself to the potty to finish. That gave me a lot of hope! I think we will do another day or two of naked time and then try the panties again. Thanks!
