I will be taking LO to the dr

in Parenting after a Loss

and my H will be going to lunch & xmas shopping w/my MIL.

Does that sound right? They had these plans and do it each December, but I kinda wish he would back out and go to the doc w/me.

    Sorry, I just saw the post below. If you are taking him in because of the poop issue, you may want to wait until you have a sample to bring with you.

    And no, it doesn't seem fair that he is going shopping and you aren't. But hopefully he takes advantage of his time w/o you and buys you something very, very nice.

    I do have a sample, I called the DCP and she saved me his morning poo. Big Smile

    It's not that I want to go shopping, I kinda just wish he would put off his "date" with his Mom and go to the doctor with me.  The shopping they are doing is for him. I just want him to offer to reschedule.

    Yeah, he should offer to reschedule it. I've told DH it's the thought that counts and the offer to help that counts more than the actual help most of the times. Sorry he's not being more considerate.

    It is actually really unlike him, I think his Mom is pressuring him about christmas presents (which is not a good excuse!).

    i can imagine how you feel. going to the pedi alone can be scary, especially under circumstances like these. although i have to say sometimes i prefer my husband doesn't come to the dr with me, sometimes he gets in the way of my questions. :-P

    I am with you on that one, I would want DH along with me too.  GL!  I am hoping its just a virus and nothing serious.

    LOL--this reminds me of The Break-Up.."I want you to WANT to do the dishes." "Why would I WANT to do the dishes?!" 

    But I totally understand. I would feel the same way. I'm sorry :(
