  With my daughter we used Kindercare at the corner of Squirrel and Walton.  She went there from 13 weeks until she started Kindergarten.  I think their infant rates are now up to around $250+/week .  I know that other parents working at Chrysler have used them and I think you would get a 10% discount. 

  I plan to check into Kiddie Academy on Livernois which is more convenient on my drive to work but I know that they are priced pretty comparable.  I really would like to find an in-home daycare for the first year.  Just hard to find someone - I'd like a referral and not pick thru the ads in a newspaper.  I did look up licensure info on the Oakland Cty website but would need to make some calls, etc.

  a lot of the people at the tech center use the center at opdyke & sq lake.  My friends use a different name than what it is (name change a few years ago).  I think it is now child time.  I know several of my coworkers did not like kindercare by walton.  they switched.  we are using a daycare in clarkston because we are coming from the north.

  My neighbor and I both use Goddard and love it.  I only use one for 2 days for preschool.  My neighbor uses the one on Silverbell (right near Squirrel).  If there's any other Goddards in your area they are great.
