Did you get painfully engorged or uncomfortable? If so, how long until you felt that way and how long did it take to dry up?
I nursed DD for the last time on Friday morning. I weaned her over the course of a month and a half. She was nursing 4 times a day - morning, mid-morning, afternoon and before bed. I dropped the afternoon session then waited a week and dropped the mid-morning session.
After another week, I dropped the before bed session and replaced it with a bottle (she wouldn't drink but a few sips from a sippy cup). Finally, after two more weeks, I dropped the morning session and again had to replace it with a bottle (However, she is doing much better with her milk in a sippy at mealtimes).
So far, I do not feel 'full' or uncomfortable in any way and I haven't throughout the weaning process after dropping each session. Am I going to eventually no matter what or is it possible to just dry up now?
