Cole update. (and a PIP)

Hey ladies!  I've missed you all so much.  Congrats to all the new mommies whose babies have been born recently.  I'm still on the NICU emotional roller coaster -- Cole has been in the NICU for 9 days now and DH and I have been visiting him twice a day.  Between those visits I've been sleeping and pumping!  He needs to learn how to take his bottle consistently for every feeding.  He's been doing much better, but we still haven't had a full day of bottle feedings.  Cole also had jaundice and had to spend a few days under a bili light, but his numbers have been low and he's been moved from an incubator to a crib.   

DH and I have CPR class tomorrow and we're hoping Cole gets to come home sometime this week.  It is so hard leaving him but we know he has to be there.  Thanks for all the love, prayers and support.

    Aww He is beautiful! As a NICU mom it is a roller coaster! Big hugs to you and YAY for room air and the crib!! He sill have to do a car seat check also. They make sure his O2 levels say good for the amount of time your ride home is.

    He's adorable.  I'm sure it hard to have to leave him each day, however, he is where he should be for now.  I've got my fingers crossed that he gets to be home soon and you can hold him all you want.  Congratulations!

    Thanks so much ladies!  I just got back from visiting Cole and he has been doing great with his feedings.  He's taken three bottles in a row and hasn't been gavashed since 3am this morning!

    He's adorable, and I'm sure the progress can't seem to come fast enough - but so glad it is progressing so well!
    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011
