Recommend a vacuum

Mine died so I am using one the neighbor gave me. I swear its older than me!  ILs are going to get me one for Christmas.  I have a $200 limit (so no dyson). Whats good and lightweight? I have to vacuum at least once or twice a day because L thinks everything is food :/

Re: Recommend a vacuum

  • I am convinced they all suck. Ours has a short and cuts in and out at will pretty sure it's a fire hazard, therefore the floor doesn't get vacuumed as much as needed. Yeah, no help.

  • A friend of mine had good luck with the Bissell pet upright.  I have all HW floors, so I use a canister vacuum.

See this is one of my problem 3/4 of my house is hardwood/tile. The bedrooms are the only carpeted rooms and the area run in the living room. So I need something that can handle both hard floors and carpet.

  • Then I would recommend a Kenmore canister vacuum with power carpet attachment.
