I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not buying him very much for Christmas. He'll be a year old and he's just too young to grasp the concept of it. Yes, I'll get him a few toys probably, but not much else. He'll probably be happier with the boxes that the toys come in! As for clothes, he gets those all the time so that's not really a gift.
on the boys' wishlists for their birthday and christmas are a few big toys like riding/walking toys, but mostly memberships to our zoo/aquarium and the local children's museum. and clothes. or gift cards to baby clothing stores.
I bought him a few little people sets already, the sing and go choo choo, a giant lego set with wagon and a shape sorter. Here's the list that I have in case grandparents ask:

And to add to the quote I think I'm going to get her some new shoes, an outfit, stocking stuff and I really want to get her an anywhere chair. My main goal is to get her stuff that she needs.
