Baby crack machine died :(

The projector finally stopped rotating. After 17 months of using the machine every night I think we got our money's worth. I just ordered another one. Matt did go through a phase where we did not turn the projector on but now he asks for it and is confused why the cow on the ceiling doesn't move any more. Oh during one of our earlier sleep deprived nights DH and I named the cow "Mootros Mootros Cowi."

    Ugh.  You're right about your money's worth but still...

    I'm so glad the batteries in Aaron's Sleep Sheep can be easily changed. Same with the Seahorse.  He still uses both to sleep. Every night I put on the sheep, push the seahorse and he falls asleep to the heartbeat sound (though the ocean one works for naps) and the music of the seahorse. He'll even wake up and push it on as he falls back to sleep.

    Baby crack machines are good stuff.

    C has the FB Seahorse, who I refer to as Ryan.  Get it?  Ryan Seahorse!   BWAHAHAAH.   Really tho, only I think it's funny.  DH thinks I'm just a weirdo.

    And FWIW, Ryan's batteries are nearly dead so he sounds more like Charlie Brown's teacher right now.

    We have the seahorse too and use it every nap and night. Sarah also puts it on herself. It's called Sebastian and we have to replace Sebastian's batteries quite frequently.

    You so got your money's worth!

    Funny that you should post this. We haven't used ours in months but just yesterday I grabbed it and plugged it in. Sydney had woken up from her nap grumpy. We pointed it at the wall, the ceiling, her belly... everywhere. I don't think she remembered it, but she loved it.

    MUST REPLACE IMMEDIATELY! :)

    Charlie has his wind up lullaby mobile and his light-up Sunny Sunshine and they both have to playing at the same time when he goes to sleep.  It sounds awful, but it works!

    The seahorse is scary when the batteries die! That happened one night and it sounded like horror movie music coming from the nursery. I may have to steal the seahorse name. :)
