Anyone else past due?

So, It has been a while for me to post on here.  I teach and posted a lot during the summer months, then once school started became an occasional lurker. 

I have really enjoyed reading everyone's birth stories and feels about being so late in pregnancy.  It's really nice to have others who are in the same boat, being anxious, excited...and uncomfortable.  

I just wanted to post that today is our official date, and no baby! One false alarm... 2 cm dilated, 90% effaced, and -1 station.  I am also officially on maternity leave with no baby which is a little bit of a bummer.  

I am thinking of all you new mommas and mommas in waiting!

    I was due on Friday.  A little over 3cm dilated, 80% effaced and at 1 station according to my doctor on Thursday.  I'm being induced tomorrow evening.

    Good Luck! Are you wanting to be induced? I didn't know how long to wait...to see if things will come naturally...We'll be induced this Thursday Morning.

    I was induced with DS1 so I was hoping to go natural if possible but I wasn't opposed to the idea of it again.  The doctor asked me if I wanted to be induced on Monday and I was like, sure why not, DS2 can't bake forever. Stick out tongue  Good luck to you as well!

    I'm still here waiting too!  I'm also a teacher and last week was my first week of maternity leave.  I'm sooo bored at home!  I thought it would be nice to put my feet up (which it really was; they aren't nearly as swollen now), but now I keep inventing projects at home to keep me busy.  I'm ready for this baby to get here!  I'm used to having kids all day long and, frankly, it's a little too quiet in our house!

    Sound like you and I are in just about the same boat! I'm a teacher too (5th grade)! My due date was just yesterday, but I feel like I'm already SO eager to go into labor already! It was a little sad to see my due date come and go, but I know my babies birth day is any day now. 

    I've just been keeping myself as busy as possible. window shopping, watching movies, and reading fun magazines (I don't know about you but I find it nearly impossible to focus on reading an actual book at this point).

    I also have found that walking and hiking my dogs always seems to bring on contractions for a few hours. Mine have been coming and going pretty regularly since last week, so I've had at least 4 "false labor" episodes (so don't feel bad about your one!)

    What has made me feel better is that it is not actually "false labor," you are experiencing the first stage of labor, Early Labor," which is when you dialate from 0-3.

    I know how frustrating it can feel at times when you hear of other mama's delivering right on time or even a couple weeks early! Hang in there mama, your day will soon arrive!

    It is so nice to have this board to compare signs/symptoms with others!Reading has been nearly impossible...

    Going from teaching (4th grade here!) full time to being at home has been a big change.  I agree window shopping has helped, most definitely walking the pup has helped long with cleaning house.  Sex is something  we had been doing, but Dr. recommended trying more, but just brings on more early labor contractions for a few house.  Has anyone else had those?

    I have contractions/cramps everyday and have been for weeks now.  They were timeable about two weeks ago, 5mins apart for 2 hours so I went to L&D turns out I had a UTI and that triggers contractions.  Even since then I've had contractions, they'll be timeable for a short time and then disappear.  DS2 is playing dirty tricks on me already.

    I'm not officially late since today is my due-date but I have a feeling I'll still be here tomorrow...

    I'm 4cm, and have contractions every 10 minutes but had contractions 5-7minutes apart the day before yesterday along with bloody show so I just don't know when this kid is going to make an appearance.

    I was due on Thursday Dec 2nd (ticker is wrong...) and have absolutely no progress as of this past Wednesday.  I have another apt Tuesday morning and they want to schedule me for induction at that point.  I am going to see if they will wait till Friday at least since Wed (Dec 8) is my wedding anniversary.  We'll see what they say...

    Still here...was due 12/3. Have been having BH's, not timeable, for weeks. They are low in my abdomen, but have had moments of some pretty painful ones. Anybody else feel like extra watery like discharge? I don't think I'm leaking fluid, but my underwear is damp almost everyday. I was checked if I was leaking fluid a few weeks ago, but was a false alarm.

    Yeah! Im still here- I was due on Saturday!! Everyone thought that I would go early including my OB-  If he doesnt make an apperance in the next few days- Im getting induced on Wednesday at Midnight!!

    Yeah, I've had that for weeks now also.  My doctor and NP checked and said it wasn't a leak in my bag or anything, just probably pressure from LO.  I would wear a pad/panty liner to help save on changing your underwear a million times a day like I was doing.

    Thanks! Makes me feel a lot better! Just didn't want to be walking around slowly leaking fluid. I also get these phantom wet sensations, like my water has broken!!! It's so weird and disapointing!!

    Yep, I was due on friday, and all weekend people keep calling or texting to check up on me. When I was last checked I had virtually no progress- a fingertip is all, no mention of station or effacement, and I have induction scheduled for Tuesday night/Wednesday am.
