What did I get myself into???? :/

I agreed to host our Mom's group's holiday playgroup, which is also a book exchange for the kids. It's this Weds.

I have the space...for the most part... so I didn't mind.

I just checked the Evite and we're up to 24 moms and THIRTY FIVE kids, ages 0-4!!!!!! O.M.G.

I knew it was going to be a lot, but this is by far the largest group we've had in the 3 years I've been a part of this mom's group. Usually playgroups are around 6-10 moms and this Holiday one tops out around 15. Not this year! Yikes!!!

I can't cut it off because it's not fair and most people who would respond have already. Everyone planning this just did not think THIS many people would come!

Now I guess I just have to hope (is this awful??) that some get sick, or have bad nights and can't make it...or show up late for just the book exchange, or I don't know! I'm getting nervous... Tongue Tied But at the same time, I'm kind of excited ;)

TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    I'm hosting holiday playgroup too next week. But limited it to 10 mommies since I just knew I couldn't accomodate more. I'm sure it will all work out for you though! A book exchange sounds like fun!

    We've done this on my local board. Everyone has to sign up to bring something, down to the cups/plates/plastic-wear, napkins, etc. Most people come staggered...it's not usually 30+ adults at the same time.  Everyone is conscious of keeping things neat and clean, etc. I'd see if you can get people to bring some booster seats or whatever.  We do it on Evite so everyone knows what everyone is bringing, etc.

    Luckily, our group leader insists on doing it at a hall, which will be my church's hall this time around.  It's good because at least it doesn't mess my house up (some moms are oblivious of their kids), but I do worry about something breaking in the hall, and it is under my name.
