First time being pregnant!

I just found out I'm pregnant! Only 3 weeks but we're so excited :) a little nervous though as this is a whole new experience for us! Hopefully these boards will help answer all my little questions I have.

    Congratulations! I don't think it's 'brutal' as previous poster said... maybe.... that hasn't been my experience though.  I am due in two weeks and unfortunately just found this site a few weeks ago! You are lucky to have found it sooner. I am mostly trying to absorb as much strength as I can from other 'posters' out here!  Good luck! Smile

    I would have to agree with both. I have been on theknot, and now thebump. I am a first time mom, but just inhereted 3 wonderful stepchildren as well!!!

     

    beware, beware, beware. it can be an emotional time, and it seems ladies sit on here all day thumbing through posts thinking of the most brutal responses just to make themselves feel good. Let it roll off your back and keep posting. I gave up for about two months, got extremely sick and put on bedrest and found that the HIGH RISK board is amazing. Mostly the people who respond kindly are those good ladies out there just looking for advice too. There are many 2+ times moms who just sit at home all day being bored and wanna put us new mommy's down who are looking for advice. Feel around on the boards. I have noticed that first trimester board is kinda scary, funny thing is most of the women replying are indeed NOT in a first trimester of squat. Dont be afraid to post on different boards looking for a good one!!! :) good luck and congrats!!!!! :):):)
