It depends on the board you're visiting. Some are more open to newbies than others. My advice is to lurk and get to know the tone of the board before jumping in with posts. And you may want to do an introduction post so people can get to know you.
But then again some Bumpies are just straight up b!tches. Your post on TTC wasn't bad, they were just being rude. Some people get brave when they can sit behind a computer and talk crap. I'd love for any of them to say half the things they say on here to my face, or anyone elses for that matter. Don't let anyone of them get you down and don't apologize for making a post that was received badly. If someone had told me to put my big girl panties on I would have told her to kiss my @ss, just sayin'. Next time, start off with a hello, not that it always works either. GL!
Yikes, I was just asking in general. Thanks for the advice. I actually wasn't refering to my post. I just noticed that some people tended to interact only with a couple others. I think in my post, I even mentioned something along the lines of knowing I was a debbie downer (or whining) but people vent on here all the time about unrelated things. I didn't expect people to have such an attitude, however, as I said in that one post, it was a bad choice. Bash me if you will. I was just surprised at how after only a few sentences, people started name calling. It happens, its over, its done. I joined to talk about ttc anyway, not to continually discuss other people's negativity. Have a great day everyone!
