What is the "going rate" for Holiday gifts/bonuses for Child-care providers in the metro area?

    I used to work at a daycare and around the holidays kids would give their teachers small homemade gifts or a nice coffee cup with hot chocolate mix in it...or a $5-10 gift card to target.

    I was wondering the same thing, but thinking since we go to an in-home and only have one provider of doing a higher dollar amount. Would love to hear what others do! And do you do a cash bonus? Gift card? Gift? Thanks!

    Last year for one child I did a $50 gift card and chocolates.  This year I'll do a $75 gift card for two kids and chocolates.  We use an in-home daycare.
