Where to shop for nursery gliders?

Hi all,

My MIL has offered to buy me a nursery glider for Christmas, and I really want to try some out in person. Specifically, I want to test a couple of the the Storkcraft models. I'm going to BRU tomorrow, but their website says the Storkcraft gliders are not sold in stores. Any suggestions on other stores that have floor models of gliders? I'm in So. Cal. if that helps...TIA!

Thanks. I saw the other thread about that, but I'd rather not rush to buy it before I'm able to try out some gliders in person.

We ended up getting ours from a local furniture store. It wasn't much more than the one we were interested in at BRU, and it was about 20 times more comfortable (which we didn't realize until we sat in them on the same day).

I did a rocker recliner from Ashley Furniture! Same price, and we can put it in the living room when we are done using it!

This advice probably isn't helpful since you have someone willing to pay for it, but I got my glider and ottoman from craigslist. It's a Dutailier glider that also reclines. Paid $275 for both pieces and it looks brand new. I found the exact same one for sale at various stores for around $1000.
