Snapless fitteds without snappis?

Anyone use a snapless fitted at night and just throw a cover over it? I have 2 SBish snapless multis and it turns out, I seriously hate snappis! haha

I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck just using them without pins or snappis for night time?

    I've done it when my DS was just not happy with me putting his nighttime diaper on. He rarely poops at night and didn't that night, so I am not sure how that would hold up. He didn't leak or anything though.

    No answer, but I'd been wondering this too. I haven't bought any snapless fitteds yet but I keep eyeing the sbish. I don't like snappis either.

    I've done it with like a thirsties duo, same as I've done with PFs. It's fine as long as you get the cover tight enough. I wouldn't use anything without leg gussets if there's risk of poo. I usually just stick with the snappi though.

    what's the snappie hatred? I think they are one of the best inventions ever -- I love telling people who freak out over CDs and "pins" that you don't need 'em anymore!

    My DD loves to kick and wiggle tons while I change her. Its a huge PITA to try to get one on her. At your  LO's age, I probably would have felt differently about snappis (though I didn't use them until recently).

    I admit it, I'm no good with snappis. I always feel like I'm either doing them too tight or not tight enough, if the way my prefolds always looked after she wore them was any indication.

     

    And yeah, my DD LOVES to kick during diaper changes, especially now that she's discovered her feet and that she can plant her feet on the changing pad and launch her butt in the air.

    We use our goodmama goodnight without a snappi. I just make sure to pull the cover up a little higher in the front, as dd is a tummy sleeper. And I understand the hate of the snappi! Changing dd's diaper is like wrestling with a greesed pig!
