*I'm posting a ton here today because DD has been napping ALL afternoon and I finished my main chore of cleaning out the hall closet!
1. What are you doing this weekend? Going to downtown WF to see Santa and getting lunch at the hot dog place, shopping ALONE and probably hitting up a playground with the fam.
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? Going to Williamsburg to be with my parents and sister and her kids.
3. What are your holiday traditions? We don't really have any set in stone traditions other than baking cookies. I am feeling rather bah humbug and don't even want to decorate this year.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? I don't want anything! We agreed not to get gifts (I didn't keep that agreement).
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? I got DH a Boston Bruins jacket he mentioned like a year ago he wanted, and my niece wanted a ballet tote and I got the most darling one off of Etsy that I know she will love, also giving DD her play kitchen.
1. What are you doing this weekend? Going to Second Empire for our anniversary dinner and getting our Christmas tree at some point.
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? Still don't have those wrapped up. But, we'll spend it with family regardless of how we split the time.
3. What are your holiday traditions? With DH's family, we go to a Moravian service Christmas eve, eat a certain soup for dinner, then go to bed early because we all end up exhausted early.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? I want a Kindle and DH is supposed to be buying it!
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? It's a toss-up, but I'm pretty excited about this great sweater dress I got my sister. She's going to look awesome in it.

1. What are you doing this weekend? going to visit my parents for my mom's birthday. We'll be doing some Christmas shopping, I'm sure. And we'll spend the rest of the time with my mom trying to make Holly do tricks. LOL.
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? next weekend with my parents, the next Saturday with my FIL's side of the family in Raleigh, Christmas Eve day with my extended family a couple of hours east, Christmas Eve/Morning at home with DH & Holly, and Christmas Day with MIL's family in Wilson, Christmas night my IL's will spend the night with us. Back to work on the 27th, while DH (and Holly) have off that whole next week
3. What are your holiday traditions? I'm trying to make some for us.. one being the advent calendar (that I finally finished!), that holds Ghirardelli squares.. We will eventually all take turns with who gets the chocolate each day, but I don't feel like giving Holly a whole square (though she'd love it), so we share... i also want to figure out a traditional Christmas morning breakfast. I'm thinking homemade cinnamon rolls or perhaps monkey bread. Growing up we used to always ride around looking at Christmas lights a couple of nights before the big day. We'd always stop at the convenience store and get hot chocolate. We also always had ham biscuits, veggies & dip, and a cheese ball on "our" Christmas eve (which was Dec 23 since we traveled on Christmas Eve day). And pretty much all of our holidays involve Dewey's cake squares.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? New furniture & decor for either our bedroom, or our living/dining area (which we need more, since that's the area everyone sees when they're in our house!) DH & I plan to do one or the other as our gift to each other, so I'm pretty sure I'll get it. :-)
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? I cannot wait to give Holly her play kitchen, and stuffed YGG characters. :-) Oh, and the fleece bulldog PJ pants I got for DH. I looked high and low for his size last year, and couldn't find them. Kohl's had them again this year and I snagged them a few weeks ago! He'll love them. :-)
1. What are you doing this weekend? Painting our bedroom
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? Probably going to the mountains around Christmas, but we're still undecided. DH wants to be at home on Christmas Day so we'll see.
3. What are your holiday traditions? Decorate for Christmas the Friday after TG. During the season we have to watch Christmas Vacation, Charlie Brown Christmas, Elf, and a few other random ones that change every year. We have our standard Christmas dinner---ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, broccoli or squash casserole, rolls, & chocolate chip cake or Oreo truffles and oreo cheesecake. We open some presents on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day we spend in PJ's playing with toys unless we go somewhere.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? I want a new iTouch. Mine got fried this year when K's sippy spilled in my bag.
I also want bedroom furniture but since we agreed we're buying it I'm not sure it counts. DH has yet to order it so who knows. And I'm doubtful I'll get my iTouch.
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? This is tough. This year has been hard in that department because DH "doesn't want anything". One thing I am excited to give (not exactly do) is surprise Chloe with her new room. She's moving rooms so Keira can go to her room and baby can have the nursery. She is excited about it. What she doesn't know is that when she comes back to our house right before Christmas her new room will be painted her favorite color (aqua) and there will be brand new bedding to match all ready and set up for her. I'm putting a big red bow on the door and it's going to be a great surprise to see her face! Now I just have to paint....ugh.
1. What are you doing this weekend? Taking DS to have his picture made with Santa. Going to a Pottery festival. Shopping on Sunday.
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? Christmas Eve we cook with my parents at our house. Christmas morning, we go to my parent's house. Christmas day (lunch time) we go to In laws.
3. What are your holiday traditions? My mom and I get together at my house and bake all day.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? A bracelet from Vintage Pearl and a massage. I know I'm getting the bracelet b/c I ordered it with DH's debit card!
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? Seeing how we've only bought two gifts...I have no idea.
1. What are you doing this weekend? Tonight, my work holiday party in Uptown CLT. Saturday - decorating during the day, attending an adult birthday/wii party in the evening. Sunday - church, errands, my brother's work holiday party. But really, I would just like to sleep...all.weekend.long.
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? SUPER quiet this year - staying in town and will get together with my SIL, brother and nephew. I'm a little sad it will be SO low key.
3. What are your holiday traditions? Usually fly to visit family, eat big meals, go to church, watch the little ones open gifts, play with the gifts, make the rounds visiting friends and meeting out at bars. Very chaotic and fun.
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? #1 - that DH gets a different job and stops traveling. Nope, won't get it. #2 - my diamond earrings upgraded to big fat boulder size ones. Nope, maybe a little bump up.
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? I've hardly even begun to think about gift giving, but want to get DH something he would REALLY like - just don't know what that is yet. I feel so pathetic in comparison to y'all who are done, but then it's only December 3rd...
1. What are you doing this weekend? Putting up the Christmas tree and headed to our childbirth blitz classes at the hospital!!!!
2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? We are starting early on the 23rd with my mom, candlelight church service on the 24th, 25th morning with DH side of the family then dinner with my dad and sisters, then 26th headed to DH's extended family and hopefully home soon
3. What are your holiday traditions? we usually have a sit down formal meal with my mom, we open Christmas stockings first
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? i don't know! That's horrible!
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? I bought my husband this really cool hat (he loves hats). I am praying it fits!

2. What are your holiday plans (where are you going, who will you be with, etc.)? dh's family is all coming to our house (JOY!! lol) hopefully mine will be visiting after new years.
3. What are your holiday traditions? we don't really have any yet :-(
4. What do you want most for Christmas? Do you think you will get it? i wanted to be pg, and i got it! lol
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? telling our family that there's an addition on the way. and a chenille blanket i'm making for ds.

3. What are your holiday traditions? The only real tradition that I keep up with is that I have hot chocolate on Christmas morning... and DH always has to have cinnamon buns on Christmas morning (I *love* that tradition!

4. What do you want most for Christmas? An iPhone. Do you think you will get it? Absolutely not.
5. What gift are you most excited about giving this year? I'm making my brother and our mutual friend a CD (we're all musicians and we jam together so I'm picking out songs that are special to us).
