Went to Dr. to find out how all looks and here is the results. Apparently I only produced 2 eggs
so we do the menopur tonight and tomorrow and then trigger tomorrow night. IUI monday morning. Then since this will work right??? nothing more to do. However if the small chance this does not work, she suggests trying the other drugs, used for IVF and try one more. But this will work right? So she also figures the poor egg quality is why i miscarried 2 times this year and such. So this will work . I would like to send all the baby dust i can to every but I am going to be selfish and keep it for myself and ask for as much good luck dust you can spare to be sent to me.
I need a large freaking drink!!!! I have not cried yet, but close. Kristin
Re: Latest update on IUI #2
Wait!!! I never had more than two follies with my Clomid/IUI cyles as well as my injectable/IUI cycle.
My first injectable cycle (IUI #3) I had two follies and they both took!!! You're completely in the running. Don't be sad just yet..you may be in my position sooner than you know. It's not easy either! lol-
GL and keep your chin up!!!
Ahh honey I'm so sorry for the rollercoaster of emotions right now! Sending you lots of prayers and positive thoughts. You can have ALL of my baby dust this cycle! xo
You know, I'm on Femara, not Clomid (Clomid once, but it didn't work well for me), and my RE has been very happy with the 3 follicles I've produced each time (although really only 2 have been definitely in the viable range each time). I think Femara is known to produce fewer follicles than Clomid in general, but my point is that as far as I can tell 2 eggs is a perfectly good response! This cycle I have one large one and two smallish....so really perhaps only one, but it's bigger than any I've had before so I'm feeling positive b/c it's "different" than the other cycles (which is probably wrong). I think if I were you I'd ask your RE why she's calling 2 follicles a poor response...what is she looking for?
Chin up! Also, I too am triggering tomorrow and having an IUI on Monday morning, so we are on exactly the same schedule!
