Yes, my MIL drinks them from time to time, and they brought a bottle to Thanksgiving. It's OK. A little better cold, when it's warm it tastes like grape juice.
I haven't but my running buddy who has a 6 month old said she tried them when PG and it wasn't bad. She said she definitely tasted the difference when she accidentally took a sip of real wine but that the Fre was a decent substitute. I was thinking of trying some with the holidays coming...it would be nice to enjoy a glass or two of wine for Christmas!
So maybe I won't be trying it....I just looked at their website and they don't have any vendors listed for all of Utah!?!? Dang those weird liquor laws here
I'm certainly not judging, but for those who want to stay 100% alcohol free, these wines are not.
Per their website:
What is the Alcohol Content?
Fre wines do contain a small fraction of a percentage of alcohol: less than one half of one percent (less than 0.5). The FDA requires that all non-alcoholic beverages contain less than one half of one percent of alcohol per volume.
I had some of the Merlot a few weeks ago when we had a friend hanging out with us a lot and he would notice if I wasn't drinking anything. Better chilled BUT not good when it's too cold I noticed.
SIL gave me a glass of the premium white when we went to tell her we were pregnant and I thought it was pretty good. Kinda like a sweet-ish Riesling.

All N/A booze technically has a tiny amount of alcohol in it. Some of my friends drank O'Douls or Coors N/A while pregnant and weren't concerned, and I'm not too worried about a negligible amount of alcohol in a glass of N/A wine. I can understand if some women aren't comfortable with even that, however.

Funny you should ask, we had a friend to dinner last night and he brought a bottle of "Fre" wine for me as well as a real bottle of wine for him and DH. I thought it was the sweetest thing! (He also brought a bottle of n/a cider so I would have choices! Unbelievably thoughtful!)
It was the Fre merlot. It did taste mainly like grape juice, but different enough to be interesting. And it was nice to have something wine-like while the men imbibed.
I'm not at all concerned about the .5% alcohol. Most wines are 12-14%, so a glass of Fre is like 1/25 of a glass of normal wine - basically, a sip or less, spread out over an hour. So unless you are concerned about a sip of normal wine (which, at 13 weeks, I'm not anymore), you don't need to worry about Fre.
Yeah, I'm also not worried about the very low alcohol % in "non-alcoholic" drinks. I'm not going to be drinking gallons of it and I've also enjoyed a sip of MH's regular wine or beer, which as PP mentioned, does not worry me at this point.
On a side note, we were in Oregon a few weeks ago and he ordered an Oregon Pinot Noir (what they're famous for). I took a sip to try it and O..M..G...it tasted so good!!! After he was finished, he handed me the empty glass and said "do you want to smell it??" Nice, huh??

Oh that would drive me insane! That's one of the reasons I made a rule that H can't drink wine in front of me, at all, while I'm pregnant. However, my mom had a Riesling I hadn't tried the other day and I took a sip of it and my eyes must've rolled back into my head with pure joy. I longingly stared at her wine glass for a while, wishing I could drink the whole damn thing!

Oh, I love Oregon pinot noir. Mean DH!
