H update

He still has a fever (day 12) so the pedi sent us to the Children's Hospital for some tests.  I was terrified of leukemia, but his blood counts came back great.  His WBCs were and 11 and in leukemia patients they are more like 2-3.  So that is a huge relief.  His chest x-ray also came back clear. 

Our pedi said she is almost certain he doesn't have anything serious and that his labs are very reassuring.  We are monitoring him this weekend and if he still has a fever on Monday he goes back to the pedi and probably for more tests.

    I'm so glad it's not leukemia. Hope his fever goes down and lots of hugs to you and prayers for little H.

    Poor little guy. I can't imagine how worried you must be but it's good to hear that the pedi doesn't think it's serious. I hope his fever breaks soon!!

    Oh Amy, I didn't even know H was sick.  Guess I have been living under a rock.  I am so sorry to hear that H has had a fever for 12 days, but am happy to hear that they don't think it is serious.  Keep us updated and try to get some rest.

    I'm sorry you and H are going through this. I'm glad the tests came back negative and I hope he bounces back soon!

    Just throwing this out there.. Did they test for Cat Scratch Fever? I only ask because when I was little I ran fever for days and days.  After several test and ruling out Leukemia thats what it ended up being.

    12 days with a fever!  Poor Henry =(.  I hope he feels better soon, so glad to hear that his labs came back reassuring.  T&P for H.

    Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
    DH: 31, no issues
    4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN

    I'm sorry to hear that Henry has been sick!  I'm glad that the lab results are coming back with reassuring news.  Hope he gets better soon!!
