Can you dribble amniotic fluid?

in Pregnant after a Loss
I went to the bathroom. My undies were dry. Half hour later I got up and they were very damp.  Now I have little dribbles (it's not pee...and it smells odd). I'm walking along pantsless, but it's just the tiniest bit....I've been having fairly steady contractions since about 3:50...
BFP #1 9/23/09. Missed MC 10w3d D&C 11/3/09.

    Yeah, I think a call to the OB is in order, lady. It sounds possible to me.

    I know I should call. Sigh. They are going to send me in again, L&D is going to tell me it's nothing more than discharge and my irritable uterus and I'm going to go home again.

    I just really want my next L&D trip to result in a take home baby.

    When I worked in L&D a lot of women would get a "high" leak and just trickle not gush  I would call

    You absolutely can- happened with my daughter. They called it a "high tear" and said her head was acting like a cork, only letting a tiny bit out. They tested the fluid in the obs office and sent me right in to labor and delivery- said i needed to deliver within 24 hours of my fluid "leaking" or the risk of infection rises.

    Good luck! Looks like baby is on the way!

    This sounds exactly like how my water broke. Little dribbles for a while before I was convinced enough to go in. You definitely need to call. I hope this really is it!

    As PP have all said- it's possible so definitely call.  Just fyi though- this happens to me all the time, and I'm pretty sure that it's pee... because I'll go to the bathroom, wipe and then stand up and more dirbbles out...sorry tmi... I have an irritable uterus as well, it's frustrating to try and figure out when it's the real thing!!

    It seems to have stopped. I walked around for quite some time with no pants and no more has come out.

    So I'm guessing it was something else...I'll keep monitoring it though.
