Sex after a m/c...

So i went to the doc today for  a follow up and when she asked me if i had any question i asked her when my DH and i could start having sex again (not trying) and the response was "oh when u feel up to it..." i was just wondering what everyone else's  doc said about having sex but not trying to get pregnant Does that mean i can start or what?

    My doc said we could have sex 2 weeks after my D&C, but not to try to get pregnant until AF came.

    I had a natural m/c.  My doctor never even addressed this and I didn't think that much about it either.  As soon as I stopped bleeding I figured I was okay to have sex.  I bled for about 11 days.  We had sex shortly after that.

    I went to the ER on a wednesday to confirm a m/c and they said no sex. I followed up with my OB on the following Tues and she said we were ok to have sex, but use protection until AF came then we can try again.

    I only talked to the nurse over the phone about it b/c I don't have my follow up for a few more weeks. She said once the bleeding stops and we feel comfortable with it. The only problem is, it will stop for a few days, then I begin to spot again! So I am not sure when it's safe - ugh!

    I had a natural miscarriage and the doctor didn't really address it.  We tried a little too soon for my body (it really hurt), so I think your body will tell you when the time is right.
    Stopped BCP 7/08 BFP 11/09 - Natural MC 12/09 PCOS 2/10 - Began taking Metformin Femara with trigger from 3/10-7/10 IUI#1 7/10 - BFN Taking a break while I work on my Masters... Now cycling on my own with Metformin. BFP 2/18/11!!! Lilypie First Birthday tickers
