SA Results - What do you think?

This is a direct copy and paste from the email they sent so I dont know how it will show up. We haven't spoken to anyone about it yet but there were no comments in that section. However it said that the results were "Subnormal" Does that mean below normal? The only thing out of the normal range was volume and with numbers like that I won't think it would matter.  Do you think these are good results?

This may be a P&R but I'll be back in about 1.5 hours to see what you ladies think :)

  • Those are wonderful numbers!!  GL !
  • We just had our first SA done last week and received the results (which I'm still trying to deciper.) You are right, the only thing that looks off is the volume. Sub-normal would mean less than normal. That is odd that they didnt give you a summary or conclusion on what the means. I'll be eager to hear what the gals on this board say.

  • It looks a little different than the way ours was outlined, but those numbers are excellent! And I think you're right about the volume. It probably isn't anything to be concerned about, but I'd ask your doc just to be sure.

  • Numbers look great! And I really wouldn't be concerned about the volume at all.  Our lab actually had 1.5ml as the minimum (and the WHO standard is a minimum of 1.5ml is normal).  Plus, with that concentration, volume shouldn't be an issue at all.

The only thing is that I don't see the morphology numbers?

  • We didn't get any morph numbers... I don't know if that means that will get those to us later or they don't do them? I don't know. DH is calling today to get some info. Thanks for all your responses! Hopefully the RE has some good things to say :)
