Parenting after 35

Almost...FFFC

I was really bummed out when AF showed this morning.  Although we haven't been trying, we haven't been preventing.  It took us forever + 2 IUIs and IVF to conceive Miller, so the concept of getting pg naturally is kind of lost on me.  But somehow, someway, in those last few cycle days, I always find hope and wonder what if???

Re: Almost...FFFC

  • Oh I know what you mean. Took 5 iui for Thomas and we're back to the same drill for #2. Love miller's new pic. So cute.

Stranger things have happened. You never know.

    Good luck.

  •  We never had to go that far on our IF journey but Ada's conception did involve medical intervention. I can empathize. That 2 week wait is no more fun now that it ever was. AF is no more welcome now than she was before.

  • Left Hug  It's always hard to not be disappointed.  Miller's new pic is so cute, BTW!

  • I too know what you mean. Every month it's that same dissapointment. One month I had a 31 day cycle & was thinking for sure I was PG. I am so wishing it could happen naturally.

    It was 4 IUI's & 2 IVF's for me.

I know I'm super late on this, but I just wanted to say that my BFF had fertility treatments to conceive her first, but the second one happened without medical intervention.  So it DOES happen!

    Hope next month is different.
