book recommendations....
ok- so I stole the idea off of here for Christmas to do the need, want, read, wear thing.
So you only buy them ONE toy they want? man, that's hard! But we'll do it.
But for the read- I'm a Kinder teacher, so I know all the "Favorites" that are so common, but I don't want to start reading them to DC now so that when they are in school they're bored with the book already ya know? so do you have any great books your kids love?
I have a 8 month old daughter and a 3 year old son if it helps.
BTW- we check books out @ the library all the time and DS LOVES (as do I) Bubba the cowboy prince. It's a country (Texas) version of Cinderella!!!

Re: book recommendations....
Why not a big chapter book that you can read with them throughout the year at bed time? Something easy to understand but say you will read a chapter a night at bed time.
Other than that, I have not looked at any books yet. I need to!
