We do Music Together and there are several songs that they sing about doing normal or things like brushing teeth, sweeping, etc. We will take one of those tunes and sing about things we are doing or that E is doing. It always gets a giggle and E dancing.

DD's favorite stuffed animal is a mouse named Little Elephant. We thought it was an elephant for the longest time, hence the name. The tune is kind of made up, but it goes:

Anneliese is not a baby elephant

Even though she has a baby elephant

And the elephant's name is Little Elephant

Anneliese and Little Elephant!

Not the most creative song (gotta love rhyming 'elephant' with 'elephant'...twice), but she loves it.

DD gets the biggest smile on her face when I sing, "I'm a little tea pot short & stout!" I don't know what it is. She loves music in general, but whe I sing that, she goes crazy!

When Ian was first born he had bright eyes and made lots of squeaky noises. From the day he was born we called him "Sqeuaker". Before we ever left the hospital I had started singing a song to him in the tune of "Jeepers Creepers".
