Planning a VBAC soon & want to be on tv?

I rec'd this in an email and thought that I would pass the info along...

National news reporter writes:

it, she needs to travel to a different hospital to give birth. We'd love to profile a women willing to go on camera and tell us about why she is
fighting to give birth her own way. >>

The reporters wants the mom to be in advanced pregnancy (i.e. visibly pregnant) but not so far along that she is ready to pop. Woman must be currently pregnant - not postpartum or planning a future pregnancy. I would also add in that if the mom is facing a ban instead of a provider issue then have her contact me as well. This reporter is already planning on flying to Maryland to interview a Maryland woman Thursday but that mom may already be in labor so if we can find an alternate woman in our area to replace the laboring mom then the reporter might be able to switch gears.

    I have a friend who I think is planning for VBAC and didn't switch hospitals, but did switch providers for this pregnancy, I will pass this along to her.  Thanks.

    She already heard about it.  Since AAMC doesn't "ban" VBACs and she's not doing a homebirth she's not really a candidate for it.  They are looking for someone who would have to really travel or do a homebirth in order to have a VBAC.
