AW: btown craft night

I have to AW Somer because she's awesome.

Shauna and I went over there last night and she taught us how to make hairbows (it's SO easy!!), made yummy cookies and spinach dip and even had a couple surprises for us.

It was so fun!  I taken pictures of my bows or the beginning stages of the project I worked on, but hopefully Shauna or Somer have some....

Thanks again for hosting!!

PS - Jake just about died of happiness for both of the cookies.

    Kelley forgot to mention how AWESOME her caramel corn was.  I don't have any pics of what I worked on either but Shawn was so excited about the bow holder (weird) but not the bows (dumb boy).

    Any of you that buy bows on Etsy.  Stop!  Just have Somer to teach you how to make them =)

    What kind of bow holders did yall make?  I'm curious because I need to make one for Annie's bows, now that she finally has an itty bitty amount of hair to hold them.

    I made one like this but I used fabric and ribbon.  It cost like $4 and took 15 minutes.  I love it.

    Oh yeah!  I totally have that post starred in my reader.  Thanks!  Glad to hear that it was so cheap and easy.

    Are you going to hang yours on the wall or do you have another place for it?

    I am definitely going to hang it because I have the wall space and it is too cute with all of the bows on there to not show it off.  Plus I am more likely to use the bows when I can see them right in front of my face while I am getting her dressed.

    awww, Thanks!  And yes, you totally need to AW your caramel corn.  I have been munching on it all afternoon and really think it's a good idea to eat that and the rolo cookies for supper!

    ETA: Thanks for showing how to shortcut the bump on my phone.  But, it won't let me reply.  Any insight?  When I click the text box, the keyboard comes up, but once the page is finished loading, it goes away and won't let me type any more.

     You have to turn Javascript off on your phone to reply.  But some websites require it to work, so you'll have to turn it back on then.
