Lurker Coming Out With An Intro!

Hi All, I wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking and chiming in when I have some useful knowledge but I wanted to formally introduce myself.

 

 My name is Tara, I am 33, from So Cal. DH (who is 30) and I have been trying to conceive since April of 2009. We got married in March and I suppose you could say we started trying then Smile. I stopped taking BCP in November 2008. However we really didn?t START until April. I got really excited when we were on vacation in Utah at the end of July 2009 and I was late but it was a BFN. I then didn?t have AF for 3 months. For someone who is spot on every 28 days give or take 1 or 2. It was really frustrating. We chalked it up to stress since my l8 year old sister in law moved in with us and the US was normal and all clear. When I went for my yearly exam this April my OB/GYN started the testing. Everything on my side is normal. I am overweight but the inside all clear. DH did two SA?s. The first was pretty bad then the second was above normal count and low end normal motility. She started me on Clomid for three cycles. The blood work all showed that I did or should have O?d. However I got BFN all three months. After the last one she said it was time for a specialist and we have our first consultation tomorrow. I have never been PG and never have seen a BFP. So I am a little worried that I just can?t get PG. A little family history: My sister did have trouble as well with her #1, then conceived # 2 by surprise 18 months later. She was TTC for 3 years and she had three miscarriages before she had my niece. I am little worried about having miscarriages as well, once we do finally conceive.

 

I am excited to see the RE, tomorrow and see what he has to say. I can't wait to get a plan in motion.

    Welcome and GL with your RE appt! I felt SO much better after ours, it was great to be in good hands and have a plan!

    After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    Welcome and GL.  Btw, I'm in Orange County too!  I wonder if we have the same RE!
    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    Gotcha.  One of my good friends is doing an IVF cycle with Werlin right now, she liked him a lot.  I go to SCCRM.

    That's where my OB reffered us too. I work for three Doctors and I knew Dr Werlin as a patient in the office I work at. So I just felt more comfortable seeing him because I kind iof knew him. Come to find out that Dr Anderson is a patient as well. If Dr Werlin is ok with it and SCCRM I want to try the accupuntcurist there.
