1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? Train table

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? I will make fudge, Oreo truffles, peanut butter balls, date balls, decorated sugar cookies (hopefully!), and who knows what else! I LOVE holiday baking!

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? this is a small thing, but a little keyboard. it's TOO CUTE!

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? yes, probably tons! definitely a red velvet for Christmas Day... but have already made vanilla Christmas cookies, will make cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookies, spice cookies, gingerbread, and more.

3. Santa gifts - wrapped or unwrapped? I think they should be wrapped, but DH says unwrapped. I let him win this one

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? I guess we'll be starting some new ones this year too!

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? We're not really going overboard for DD this year since she's so young. I got her some stuff from Remember Nguyen and we'll get some toys, but that's about it. My father is thinking about making her an heirloom quality toy box though, I really hope he does! If so that'll definitely be my favorite

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? I always make Christmas cookies and chocolate covered pretzel rods, YUM!

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? As a kid my brother and I would always wake up early and take our stockings to Mom & Dad's room and open them in bed with them. Then we'd all sit down to a BIG family breakfast with the good china/silver/crystal, etc. before we'd open our presents under the tree. I LOVED the anticipation every year!

5. What is your favorite holiday treat (things like candy canes, eggnog, gingerbread men, etc.)? Peppermint Mocha from Starbuck's, my Grandmother's recipe of Cheese Sticks, and English Toffee

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? I always make Red Velvet cake. I will also make a coconut cake, pecan pies and sugar cookies.

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? We will start some traditions this year but I am not sure what it will be.

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? A play kitchen and accessories. (It will be from Santa.)

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? Not sure. I might try to convince my grandma to help me make Rosettes this weekend, which used to be my favorite. It's a scandinavian pastry.

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? On Christmas Eve we always have a Norwegian dinner before going to church to remember our heritage. My mom makes what's basically Swedish meatballs and potatoes and we also have lefse, which is like a tortilla wrapped with butter, sugar and cinnamon.

5. What is your favorite holiday treat (things like candy canes, eggnog, gingerbread men, etc.)? I LOVE eggnog! Peppermint bark too!

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? I know I am going to make peanut butter fudge and puppy chow..I'll probably make a few other things too

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? One that I am excited we are starting this year is we have a kid friendly nativity set and that's how we are going to teach the Christmas story to Aubrey, and one that I always loved when I was a kid was that me and my brother had our own tree and it was decorated with kid type ornaments like ones we made or character ones, etc. I hope to be able to do that starting next year for Aubrey and any other future kids.

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? Now, it's a playtunnel set. DH doesn't know yet but I'm set on getting M a McWane membership & that'll be my fave

2. Are you making any holiday desserts or Christmas cookies? If so, what? Cut-out sugar cookies, individual choclate mousse pies, apple cobbler with ice cream & chocolate covered pretzel sticks.

3. Santa gifts - wrapped or unwrapped? Unwrapped- for us it distinguishes which ones are from Mommy/Daddy & which ones are from Santa. When I grew up we had 1 big Santa gift that was always unwrapped waiting by the fireplace.

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? Christmas Eve is big: we do it party-style with a 20+ appetizer buffet, games & a pinata!

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? I am really excited about her babydoll, but I will probibaly give it to her for her birthday. Also the Laugh and Learn Kitchen, and LeapFrog Potsy. She can cook int he kitchen like Daddy.

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? Looking forward to starting some this year. DH and I have always gone to Bellingrath Garden's Magic Christmas in Lights close to Christmas. I know Madi will love the lights! WE also have continued the tradition of my FIL of making cookies. I can't wait til she is old enough to participate.

1. What is your favorite thing you bought/will buy for LO this year? Worst mom on the planet...I haven't gotten her anything yet. I've been helping my mom shop for her, and she is so young so we aren't going nuts.

4. What is one special Christmas tradition in your family? When I was a kid we always decorated the Christmas tree and then listened to the Polar Express with a fire in the fireplace. I am also looking forward to starting our own, but probably won't start until next year.

nope, my mom makes the Christmas sugar cookies like my Grammie used to.

we all get matching pjs and its the gift my mom has us open on Christmas eve so that we wear them to bed that night. She still does this for all of us and the grandchildren!!!

my mom's sugar cookies and her sweet rolls (we get to take a batch home and they don't last long!!)
