SO brushing..how many teeth does LO have?

DS has 12 and I thought this was normal. But after reading the tooth brushing post I've noticed this isn't the case.

So how many teeth does your LO have?

dd is still missing 8 teeth, her 2 year molars and her "canines" on the top and bottom (I can never remember the correct term for those.)

12.5 - his bottom right canine is about half way through

The other 3 canines should be in within a couple months.

She has all 16 but two of the canines are still just barely poking through.

DD has 6....4 on top and 2 on bottom. I think she is teething again right now but everytime I try to really look in her mouth she clamps down and won't let me see. She does this while brushing too which makes it interesting. She opens up good at first but when I start the jaws shut and I just keep brushing since I can feel her teeth pretty well with the brush and then she will open up again briefly for the bottom. Its challenging but at least she isn't crying or anything.

Yeah, no clue. She's getting her canines now and all her teeth have come in the normal pattern, so however many that is.

Same here, but he was nine months before his first one came through. I think we've got four coming in now.

We just got #5 in this past weekend. He is a backwards boy, too. Got his 2 top ones around 10 months, then the bottom 2 (which are TINY) and just got another top one to make 5.

Fourteen

He has his bottom canines and 2-year molars left, and the canines will probably be breaking through any time. He's getting the super fussy, overtired attitude that he always gets right before something cuts. That and the spots on his gums look open and swollen, like the uppers did before cutting.
