Anyone have the Learning Tower

How doing you like it?  The IL's are not very good a getting gifts for DD they always have small parts ect.  I think almost everything they got we had to put away because it wasn't safe.  So we are thinking of giving them a list of things that would be ok for her for christmas.

I know it will not be long before I will like to have DD in the kitchen with me but I wouldn't feel safe letting her stand on a chair.

  • We have it.  C likes it.

The only thing I hate is that the legs come out too far and I always hit my toes on them.

  • We have one and like it.  Alex loves to help cook.  It takes up quite a bit of room so make sure you have a spot that you can put it out of the way when it is not in use.

This, exactly. Claire loves it but I trip on it. And yes, make sure you have enough space for it since it doesn't fold up. Be warned, it makes climbing on the counter very easy!

  • I have been looking at this for a gift also.  At what age do you think this is appropriate?

Alex got his last Christmas when he was 12 months.  We did not attempt using it until about 15 months.  It was closer to 18 months when we felt comfortable with him in it.  He was also slow to stand / walk so he was lacking coordination and would slip out the side holes.

  • We have it and love it. I am not sure that my Superman needed any help with the climbing :)

  • Love, love, love it!  DS uses is every day several times.  As pp's have said it is large, but if you have space I think you'll really like having it.  We just got it for him for his 2nd birthday but I could have seen him using it as early as 18 months or so, maybe a bit earlier if we put him in it.  He still uses a small step stool to climb in easily though he can do it without.

  • After talking with a friend who had the Learning Tower we asked the ILs for the Kitchen Helper last Christmas.  DD was 16 months and was able to use it right away.  We LOVE IT.  Some people feel that things like exersaucers are must haves (we never had one.)  I don't understand how people can't feel Kitchen Helpers/Learning Towers are not must haves!
  • The photo of your son in the tower is adorable! We are glad you are enjoying it. Can I put a copy of this pic on our Learning Tower FB page?

I went over there and saw you are having a contest so I did it myself.  Smile

P.S. Please do stay and post more about EF things, but make sure you don't promote your product as doing so is against the Bump terms of service.
