NBR how many holiday cards do you send out??

i know i never should have listened to DH....i only ordered 40 and after writing them out we only have 7 left to send when someone surprises us and sends us one!!! i knew i should have just ordered 60!! AGH!! i am blaming illness and lack of sleep for this poor judgement call......

I'm in a smiliar situation. I was being cheap (to be honest) and ordered 25. I realize what I needed was more like 50.

we have a HUGE family and i love having extras on hand for those "suprises" that i get. so i go over board and order 100. but i always seem to use them before xmas. its a tad pricey but then again we dont buy for the whole family so thats basically their present.

My list is around 50, I ordered 75 because we always seem to forget some people, and of course the surprise cards.

I ordered 50. It's always been more than enough in he past. DH and I both have small families though and don't have a ton of friends we send to.

We send out like 65 cards. I told DH that I'm going to keep track of who sends us a card back for a couple of years, and if we never get one, I won't be sending one. Then he went on this rant about how we live out of state so people barely get to see Emma, and they will look forward to the pic, blah blah blah. So, for now, it's 65.

i plan on ordering them from costco. the first set comes w/50 and that's what i'll order. same for ds's 1st b-day party invitations.

I ordered 50, I haven't made my list yet but I don't think I will send them all. Any left over I will send to the deployed soldiers with a note of encouragement and gratitude from our military family to them.

i ordered 70 hoping to cut my list down this year--i have 5 left currently! but we are going to make a copy of the inside (photos/letter) on some stationery to send out as needed! and our parents/sisters will get just the copied stuff as they see us all the time anyway! so i figure around 80 before we are all done!

We typically send out about 85-90. I ordered 100 picture cards this year. Any surprises beyond that will get old leftover non-picture cards from last year or the year before.

I had 52 people on my list, so I ordered 50 cards and cut 3 people (gotta keep one for me.) I did use Pampers Points to get 25 of them free, so it wasn't as bad. In the past I've done cheap cards and then did a photo collage that I had printed on 4x6's and stuck inside. It's cheaper than the photo cards and looks better hanging on my grandma's fridge all year.

Any surprise cards that I want to respond to will get a basic one.
