2nd Set of Twins

I'm a mother of a 15 1/2 year old daughter, and 12 1/2 year old identical twin boys, and am also 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. We had our first doctor's appt yesterday and to our surprise found out that I'm having yet another set of twins! The doctor said it's too soon to tell if they will also be identical or if they will be fraternal, but I'm just in shock that I'm having another set of twins! Both hearts were beating well and they seem healthy so far. I'd just like to know how many out there have more than one set of twins and are they identical or fraternal???

My grandmother had 3 sets of fraternal twins (and two singletons).

Congratulations! I'm expecting my third set of twins. Adam and Jacob would have been 14 this month. Born early due to incompetent cervix. Franklin and Lewis are almost 8, and now I'm expecting little girls, Gracieann and Georgia in February. I teach and have some Amish students, and one (actually two) of them have four sets of fraternal twins in their family. And another student I have is a fraternal twin and her mom also has identical twins and a singleton. (It's also a large Catholic community here). : ) I think having identical twins and fraternal twins is even more rare than having just fraternal sets. Congratulations again!!!!! It's a blessing.

I'm expecting my 2nd set of twins.... I have 5 year old boy/girl twins, and I'm pregnant with fraternal twin boys. This is actually my 3rd twin pregnancy... last winter I was expecting identical twins, but lost them at 11 weeks.

Congrats! I'm a member for the more than one set of multiples club, too. I have 2 sets of twins. My first boy/girl set are 6yo. My other set, 2 boys, are 6 months. The second time around is so much easier. Just be prepared for some odd reactions when you tell strangers you have 2 sets of twins. Their jaws typically drop to the floor.

Also I was able to carry my 2nd set better than I did my first. I had no issues at all.

I'm expecting my second set of twins too. My first set are fraternal (boy/girl) and are 9 years old. Now I'm expecting identical twin girls. It's crazy!

shhhhh.....my wife decided it was time to start trying again, and everyone has been mocking cause we had twins first try last time......dont jynx us! lol!

Actually.....aside from dying from lack of energy.....4 kids under 2-3....hmmm....

I have two sets of twins........Matthew & Chase will be 4 next week, Justin & Emma just turned 2 yesterday........both sets are fraternal! Congratulations!

I am due to have my second set March 10th, which will be three years to the day since I had the first batch. The first are fraternal boys and the second are fraternal somethings. We don't find out. Good luck!

On a side note - did any of you use fertility treatments? I haven't, but I know people who have and have gotten multiples out of it.
