LOL. I know you ladies have listened to me explain why the bundle me is bad.
I just wanted to share this article, complete with pictures that talks only about how it affects the actual car seat as far as bulk and harness interference.

of course there is the additional warranty issue. But it is perfectly safe for stroller use. There is a reason that all JJ Cole advertising shows the bundle me in use in strollers and car seats that are NOT in a car.
Re: Annual bundle me PSA.
Thanks for the reminder...it drives me nuts when I am in a store and I see a parent carting around their baby in one of those...it almost makes me want to throat punch them. It also bothers me to no end when they put them in the worlds largest snowsuit and buckle them in like that really is going to keep them restrained in an accident.
Now if only I could find something for DS who's in a convertible so that I didn't feel like the worlds worst mom when he gets out of the car at daycare in a thin fleece coat...(in my defense I have heated underground parking so he's outside all of 10 seconds from car to daycare door).
I love the title of this post
we use a travel trench from www.cjsewingroom.com
but I'm planning on attempting a modified version. If it works out, I'll let you know. You buy the fleece, I'll sew it
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! WOW! As a new Mom I am clueless and had no idea about this!!! I am currently using a Kiddopotamus car seat cover for my daughter. https://www.elitecarseats.com/Kiddopotamus-CozyUp.pro
I just recently purchased a Bundleme because it seemed like it would be warmer than the cover that I currently have. Thank you for posting this I will be returning it tomorrow!!
you're very welcome
Is this just like a double layered Sunggi? They are making these in kid sizes now which might work as well.
A snuggie would probably work too. K's isn't totally open in the back, so she can wear it when not in the seat, but a snuggie would probably work for in the car
the shower cap style ones are totally safe
because they don't interfere with the straps. As long as it does not come between baby and seat or baby and harness, it should be good to go
THANK YOU for this info, I had NO idea about this problem! I just removed the Bundle Me from my registry.
I found this alternative - looks like it just pulls over top of car seat to protect from elements but doesn't go under the baby. I think I'll get this instead.

yep, that one is safe. I was very happy to hear JJ Cole was coming out with a safe version
