Prenatal Massage

I am looking for a place to get a prenatal massage.  I would like to go somewhere that other people have been to rather than just finding a place on the internet and trusting that they know what they are doing!!  I live in Owatonna (40 min south of Lakeville) so either the southern metro or Rochester area would be preferred!

    I've no recs however look at all salons nearish to you and see if they even advertise prenatal.  The next step is to find out if they have an actual pregnancy table.  It has a hole for your belly and should be the only way you get a massage.

    And, I believe, they really don't want to work on you in the 3rd trimester.  And some won't really want to work on your feet as it has reflexology stuff with the pregnancy.

    I had one at a Juut Salon near me and it was awesome.   GOOD LUCK!

    I get my massages at Massage Envy here in the cities! I highly recommend them! They have great prices and are very professional and take direction well.     As a massage therapist who has given plenty of prenatal massages you most definitely CAN get a massage while you're in your 3 trimester.  That's probably when you'll most benefit from massage.  The trained therapist knows which points on the body to stay away from that induces labor.  Also, many places may have the client laying on their sides during massage with plenty of pillows to make sure you're comfortable. Check around and when you do decide on a place--just ask if they offer prenatal massage.  Day of your appt. they'll ask how far along you're and which areas you would like to have focused on (hips, low back, legs, feet, shoulder, blah blah)  Not only will massage benefit you, but you'll also get a reaction from your baby, too. ( moving around and kicking)  Good luck!
