F/U to Early Intervention for LO

You may recall that last month at Delaney's one year appointment, our pedi referred us to the Early Steps (early intervention) program since she wasn't yet pulling herself up, let alone standing or cruising.  She had an initial evaluation a few weeks ago in which they determined she needed further assesment to see if she qualifies for the program.  They couldn't get me in until December 3rd (this Friday).

WELL....little Miss D pulled herself up into a standing position while we were on vacation last week.  She did it on Thanksgiving Day actually - DH and I had put her down for her nap and were hiding behind the bed until she settled and we could leave.  DH popped his head up and sees her standing in the PNP.  We were so excited for her that we pulled her out of the crib, rejoicing!  Yeah, she never did get a good nap that day!

Anyway, fast forward to this week and she's pulling up all over the place, so I cancelled her appointment.  I'm relieved...however, I didn't realize how much bigger her world got just by being able to pull herself up!  Time to clear off the coffee table!
