Parenting after 35

Surprised insurance has not dropped us...

Thinking back over the last 11 months -

Liam - recirc. surgery in March,

Owen - cleft surgery in October

Keegan - genetic testing & Gastro doctor in November.. they are now going to do a biopsy to see if it is Celiac disease.  His lab results came back & it only shows 1 marker for Celiac & only 30% of people that have the 1 marker don't have Celiac.  Plus he has two other symptoms with low iron & short stature.  I know it is not a big deal to be on a gluten free diet - I know my kids are healthy, but still.

Please tell me this is normal for having multiple kids??

& next year we will have new insurance..We are probably the reason why the company is changing insurance!

Hoping next year everything is a bit calmer so we can just enjoy our boys (with new diets & all)!  But I have a feeling we will be in the emergency room next with a concussion or broken bones with how the boys wrestle.

  • I don't know if it's normal, but that about describes my household.  I swear we are at the ped every other week with ear infections or strep.  This year all 3 of my kids will have had surgery (2 sets of tubes/adenoids, and tonsils out).

I'm praying after this last surgery we stay out of the ped's office for at least a few weeks!!

  • Ugh, sure hope you have a calmer 2011!!
