DH gave me my Kindle early and now I need some good book ideas.
Any suggestions?

    I like Nevada Barr's books with the Anna Pidgeon character. She is awesome.

    I just finished The Help and Room. Also, Laura Lippman is a really great mystery writer (and I don't even really like mystery) but she is probably the best author I have ever read.

    Ditto the suggestions of The Help and Life of Pi.  Also, I really enjoyed "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."  It's one of the best books I have ever read.

    Have you read the Stieg Larsson books yet? If you haven't, I would highly recommend them. I am on the second one now. I may or may not have been up reading it at 5:30 this morning;)

    Abraham Lincoln: vampire hunter. Not your typical vampire crap story. Also, I don't know if it's anything like the ipad, but we get classics for free and those are always a good read.
