    Oh my gosh... why did I click on this? I am soooo heart broken for this family. I am literally sobbing while reading this, but it is so beautiful and honest that I can't stop.

    Oh my word. What happened to that sweet baby girl? I cannot get passed the first posts. It's too hard and I feel bad even typing that because it's so easy for me to close out her blog, but that poor Mom is living my worst nightmare.

    Same here... I read two entries and was crying so hard.  I just couldn't read anymore.

    She had a bacterial infection I think. It came on very fast. She isn't a bumpie but one of her best friends is which is how the blog became a bump favorite. At least that is what I remember. I feel so very heartbroken for this family

    This is so unbelievably sad. I feel so horrible for this family. I am going in to hold my sleeping baby...I can't imagine....its the only thing that will get me to stop crying. I prayer for their family.

    If you want to read the full story, you have to start at the beginning of her blog, but I will warn you that it's very hard to read and you will cry. I grew up with Ellie's dad and first posted about it here when it happened because I was very distraught by it all and know how good bumpies are at rallying support for people like Ellie's family. One night, there was a post on his FB status asking for prayers for Ellie, and within hours, she was gone.

    I talked to Ellie's dad tonight, and he and his wife are very grateful for all the T&P from people on TB and IRL. He gave me permission to pass along the info for the Memorial fund. Every dime is going to charity. He said tonight they took $3000 out of it and went to Target and bought a ton of toys for Toys for Tots, although he said he'd 'rather be selfish and have my daughter back.' Crying Is it OK to post the memorial info here or is that considered soliciting?

    That is the one of the saddest blogs I have ever read.  I couldn't even imagine going through what she is going through right now.  I would never want to imagine....just awful.  Please do post the memorial information.
