Colton

It looks weird when I spell it. My husband suggested it a couple weeks ago and at first I said no. But it's kind of growing on me now. I don't know though...it's a little weird for me when our other top name is very traditional, Matthew.

Nickname would be Colt, which I don't know if I like, or Cole.

What do you guys think?

I like Colton.

And weddingcake, I LOVE Corbin...but a good friend from college is named Corbin, and its just too unique of a name for me to name my boy that unfortunately...

H has a cousin named Colton and hes a little bastard, so it ruins the name for me. Which is too bad because I like the name!! I *think* he spells his Colten though... I'll have to check at Christmas.

oops, and edited to add: He just goes by Colten, it's short enough on its own.

I love it...we have good family friends that have a son named Colton (it was the mom's maiden name) and they call him Cole for short. Super cute, IMO.

I love Corbin too!

I have a problem with being too concerned with what other people think so I was just wondering if others would think it's too out there. I think it threw me off at first because my husband is a big Colts fan and I didn't want people to think we are naming him after the team

One of my good friends has a DS named Colton. I hadn't heard it before she had him (just turned 2), but I like it and I'm seeing it more and more.

I LOVE Lincoln and Corbin! DH has vetoed both though . He likes the nickname Linc, just not the full name.

We have friends with a son named Colton. I think it's cute! They've asked that nobody call him Colt, though. We live in Indianapolis though, so I think that's why they feel calling someone Colt might be a little strange!
