In Home Day Care Question

I have a friend moving to the area who is going to be looking for in home daycare.  She was asking me if I know the going rate for in home care but I have no clue since I stay home and most of my other friends either stay home or use centers.  Can you all help?  Thanks so much!

    I found a nanny share with one other family and we (other family and us) pay her around $650/week for 2 kids and that includes her taxes, vacation, etc.

     

    We're in Baltimore City so it's more cost-affordable than centers (~30%) and we absolutely love our nanny.

    The ones I checked into ranged from $150 to $250 per week. This was in the Parkville/White Marsh area.

    I'm in the Harford County area and I've found in-home to between $170-$210.

    I have a home daycare in Bel Air :o)  I created my prices by checking with the local Child Care Links office.  They were able to supply me with the average costs of home day care and centers (by age) in each local zip code.   Maybe you can check with them to find current statistics!
