And you are only just beginning. If you find an answer, we all want to know. Almost 20 years, and I still cannot figure out the answer. Case in point. DH had to go rescue DS, who locked his keys in the car for the third freaking time in two weeks. The dumbness never ends. It just becomes more of a hassle. I do love my boy, despite it.
Ha! I missed the big ones remark. Ignore my post. I have no freaking idea. You try to raise them right, but they still lose anything not attached to their body 3 times in less than 2 weeks. Not to mention mama having to remind him to (OMG...he was NOT raised this way) get a freaking shower in the course of the week. I am soooo convinced that adult men would be so lost without a good woman keeping him in line. The dumb ones lack an involved mama, and have no good woman to keep them in line.

I read a book a few months ago called "The Male Brain" by Louann Brizendine, MD. It's part clinical, part conversational. My sister was reading "The Female Brain" and told me about this book since I live with two males. It explains how the male brain works (hence the title, duh) from the time they are babies until they are old men. Really interesting read and not a huge time commitment. It's fairly short.
Side Note: I'm the first to say I love my Kindle but here's a negative point: If I had a hard copy, I could bring the above book Saturday and let people borrow it.

I re-read my post and started chuckling about the "it's fairly short" part. I didn't mean to imply that an explanation of the male brain wouldn't take long. Then again, maybe I did.
Re: Why are boys so dumb?
The big ones. The little ones don't know any better. Yet.
I wish I knew!
If you figure it out, drop me a line.
