Pediatrician/St Joe's Medical Center

Hello! 

 I'm due in early February and am starting my search for a pediatrician.  Any recommendations?  I don't know if this makes a difference or not but I will be delivering at St. Joe's.

    I see Dr. Lacovera at St. Joes and like her - she's kind of no nonsense, so if you want touchy-feely and some hand holding, I wouldn't recommend her.

    I second Dr. Lacovara. Her staff is really friendly as well and I never have a hard time getting DD in at the last minute. This summer, they saw her within the hour I called b/c she had a cough and we were leaving for France that afternoon! I just wanted to be sure it wasn't anything we'd have to worry about and it turns out she had an ear infection.  She is very nice and reassuring though, but I agree, she's not super touchy feeley.

    We go to Dr. Minton at Pediatric Partners in Towson. She (and the other doctros at the practice) has access to St. Joe's. I have been very happy with her and the staff there. Lucikly I haven't need many sick visits, but they have gotten DD in that day the two times I have needed them. Their website is https://www.pediatricpartnersmd.com/services_towson.html.
