Do Old Navy tights run big?

I bought Aubrey a couple of pairs of tights at Old Navy.  They are size 12-24 months but they are way too big on her...like I am thinking unless she takes a major growth spurt these things won't fit for like a year!.  I'm wondering if I should take them back and get the 6-12 month ones.  Has anyone else noticed them running big?

    Have you washed them yet?  I bought some 2-3T for Avery and out of the package they were really big but after I washed and dried them (they were the cotton/cable knit ones) they shrunk up a lot and fit just fine.

    Yes they run big. I have my LO(17 mo) in the 6-12 mo. She is on the shorter side but there is plenty of give in them. I would swap them out! :)
