We're making the long trek to visit my parents in Canada tomorrow. Today I'm packing and cleaning the house. SO glad it's a daycare day, I could never do it with S at home! We're taking 3 flights for a total of 10 hours of travel, changing planes in SLC and Chicago...UGH! I ended up buying the Cosco Scenera for him to use during the flight so will see how easy it is to travel with a convertible seat. I also bought a bunch of toys in the dollar bins at Target and wrapped them all, hoping that keeps him busy for a while. Got the DVD player, stickers, crayons, lots of food, haven't tried Benadryl so we'll have an undrugged toddler...I pity the other poor passengers... Wink

If you have a long layover at O'Hare, they do have a few kiddie play areas in the terminal.

I hope you have a good trip. And just remember it is what it is. We were those parents on our trip out to DC for Thanksgiving. Rachel got too hot at one time and until she cooled down she cried. But all in all she did great.

We found that a bag of potato chips was the best toy by far. Rachel loved shaking, squeezing and chewing on the bag. Hey- it kept her happy.
